Millsberry was an advergame, created by General Mills in July 2004 as a marketing tool. It had shops, homes, an arcade, special events, and a weekly newspaper called the Millsberry Gazette, which told you the happenings in Millsberry. General Mills often used product placement on Millsberry. It was a web site mainly targeted towards elementary and middle school students, though it could be played by everyone. You were required to sign up to be able to fully and freely access Millsberry.

Closing

On Thursday, November 21st, 2010 Millsberry had updated the Gazette announcing that players were graduating from Millsberry along with a thank you. A going away yearbook was able to be made starting on Thursday, October 28th, 2010. In the yearbook was a picture of your buddy and home, a bio of your interests and personality, and your favorite 15 items. The yearbook was able to be changed and printed as many times as you desired up until the closing of Millsberry on Friday, December 31st, 2010. On January 1st 2011 Millsberry was officially shut down and in replace they offered 2 wallpapers, 2 printable keepsakes, and 6 instant messenger icons.
